Kolkata TV launched under the banner of SST Media Pvt Ltd, a group company. Again This channel used Mac Operating system B4M playout system , and FCP and FCE for journalist Desktop system.
Shyam Salvi had been invited by Cicada Broadcast to carry out the Re-Designing and System integration, of Kolkata TV to resolve the problems occured in the previous system integratation. And is successfully Re-Designed and System Integrated in May 2006.
